Training Categories for NSDTA:
Workshop proposals are encouraged in the following four categories:
1. Training:
the systematic development of job-related knowledge, skills, and
attitudes
2. Management development: aimed
at the improvement of management structures and processes
3. Organizational development: concerned
with improving the overall effectiveness of the organization, e.g.
the way various processes function and how people work together
4. Evaluation: concerned with the
effectiveness of training, management development and organizational
development
Training categories (key themes) for NAPIPM:
- Promoting Accurancy in Self Sufficiency programs, Food Stamps, Medicaid, Child Care, etc.
- Improving Performance of Direct Service Practitioners, Support Staff and Management
- Improving efficiency of providing services to clients: change, call and/or mail centers, etc.
- Increasing Productivity, Results and Outcomes
- Methods and successful outreach and collaboration with Faith Based organizations
- Best practices in TANF and participation level achievement
